This manual serves to inform editors and outline our general style guidelines. Those interested in contributing to our wiki are urged to read this manual.
If there is cause of concern regarding anything in the manual, we prompt you to open a thread in discussions and encourage community opinion. Please note that this manual is still work in progress.
Formatting & Information
Main
- Editors should use correct American English when writing pages.
- Correct: Normal Noobie's illustration appears as a blue colored torso.
- Incorrect: Normal Noobie's illustration appears as a blue coloured torso.
- If the noobie's hint or description uses no gender pronouns, then the editor should use 'they'. It should be used when the gender of a noobie is unspecified or unclear.
- 'They' should be used in singular, plural, or reflexive form when necessary.
- Editors and contributors should write in present tense unless deemed unfit.
- Correct: Gangster Noobie is my crush noobie.
- Encyclopaedic and formal language is to be used within articles.
- Editors should use proper and correct grammar in all pages. This includes using the correct parenthesis, homophones and spelling.
- Dates should be included in noobie pages.
- Do not add personal opinions to any pages, except community posts.
- Incorrect: Personally, I think the Malignant Noobie will have a boss fight.
Categories
- We use categories to group pages that are similar. Editors must not add/create unnecessary categories and are encouraged to stick with the current categories.
- Correct: Category:Noobies
- Incorrect: Main Lobby Noobies
Content
- Article content must be factual and authentic. Content shared by the community is of factuality and is verifiable if interrogated. Genuinity of outside sources is hard to discern, therefore, cannot be used without exception.
Expectations
- Editors are advised to edit in source edit mode, a mode that hastens the process of editing.
- When source editing, spacing must be clean. This is helpful for future visitors and housekeeping and helps keep our community stay polished.
Advanced Formatting & Information
- The information below can be considered advanced, and beginner editors may have a hard time using this formatting. New editors are advised to leave the following to more experienced editors, as there have been incidents where new editors have broken pages.

- When adding the locations of noobies and/or how to obtain them, editors should spoiler the text.
- This can be done by using the table below: you must be on the source editor.

- When posting media to pages (this can vary from noobie images or in-game images), editors are advised to post high quality images. The images must be official, or be from the main game.
